Bhubaneswar Combined XI struggled past Kalinga Institute of Social Science (KISS) 1-0 in the opening match of the third Biju Patnaik Gold Cup All-Orissa School Football Tournament at Unit-VI High School ground in Bhubaneswar today. Ashish Pradhan scored the all-important goal off a penalty kick to guide the winners into the quarterfinals. The tournament was earlier inaugurated by former minister Padmanav Behera.
